Personal finance app (app + front end)
A small money tracker on a local SQLite file, with a front end: accounts, transactions, a category summary and an add form. See the totals, log a transaction, and watch the summary change. Every endpoint creates its tables if they are missing, so the pages work before you load the sample data.

How you know it worked
Open the portal, press 'Load / reset sample data' on the Overview, then open Transactions. Add one on 'Add' (a negative amount is spending) and it appears in the list; 'By category' totals update to match. Everything lives in a SQLite file next to the API — no demo stack needed.
